The club and venue - Balatonmáriafürdő

Balatonmáriafürdő is located at the southwest part of Lake Balaton. The club is at the port with easy access to the lake. For family and non-sailing friends we there’s a lot to do nearby. With a short drive you can get to

- Keszthely, the capital of Balaton (20 km),

- Hévíz (25 km)

- Tapolca (50 km) where you can have boat inside the caves,

- Badacsony (50 km), one of the most famous wine regions of Hungary

- Kis-Balaton (30 km) one of the most extraordinary landscapes of Hungary

At Balaton no motorboats are allowed (other than ferries or rescue boats) which helps to keep the noise levels down and the dreaded jet-skiers out of the picture. So, if you have friends or relatives interested in “sharing” your holiday – bring them along. You will all enjoy your stay!

ARRIVAL AT THE CLUB:

In order to speed up and simplify the arrivals we ask you:

1 - Come to the office to register your arrival and to get the stickers to be applied on boats/road trailers/ribs/cars.

2 - Offload the boats in the area indicated by the staff.

3 - Apply the stickers before pulling the sailing boats inside the “Boats Park”.

OUR BASIC RULES:

Sailors have to take care of their boats & equipment.

You always have to keep clear the cycle path and the beach!

Respect, order and cleanliness are fundamental, but mostly important is your Fun.
